You don't need me to remind you how abysmal your Houston Texans have performed on the road thus far in 2016. I'm going to do it anyway.
They were destroyed by a Patriots team forced to start its third-string rookie quarterback. They were vivisected by a Vikings squad while making Sam Bradford look like Joe Montana. They lost a closer contest to the Broncos on Monday Night Football that featured a killer fumble by Alfred Blue and the infamous pick-fumble that shouldn't have been from Brock Osweiler. Stadiums that don't have "NRG" in their name have been a house of horrors for the good guys.
Today, however, they travel to a place they're quite familiar with, a place they've actually had some measure of success in--EverBank Field. Today, they'll play their third AFC South contest of the campaign--and their first against the reeling Jaguars. If ever there was a game to alleviate their road woes, you'd think it'd be today, especially after a bye week. There's no such thing as a free lunch in the NFL, however, so don't go counting those chickens just yet.
