THINGS OF NOTE:

  • Joel Heath outsnapped Christian Covington for the first time this year. Covington has been less thangreat this season, and Heath has slowly been accumulating more and more snaps each week since he was brought onto the 53-man roster. While it may be premature to christen Heath the new starter, it is definately something worth noting for the rest of the season.
  • Season highs in both targets and receptions for Braxton Miller as he notched his first NFL touchdown.
  • Also a first for C.J. Fiedorowicz, who managed to be targeted 10 times for the first time in his career.
  • This is only the fifth game this season in which the Texans' offense has surpassed 300 yards total offense. To put that in perspective, Drew Brees has had six games this season where he's passed for more than 300 yards. The Texans' total yardage per game average is 313. Brees' average passing yardage per game is 328.
