Minnesota versus Detroit was a nice starter, but now it’s time for the entrée. The Redskins are riding high off a big win against the Packers on Sunday night and are locked in a playoff battle in the NFC East (which has also been one of, if not the, best division in the NFL this season). Washington’s done this all the while playing the game of ‘‘will we or won’t we’’ in regards to re-signing Kirk Cousins to a long-term contract. Not that it matters, because the team they are playing today is a juggernaut that just seems to grind the life out of it’s opponents.
The Cowboys have done a complete u-turn from one year ago and have seemingly addressed their biggest concern going forward with a fourth round draft pick. Their combination of a rookie QB in Dak Prescott and star RB Ezekiel Elliott (WELL DONE, ME FOR DRAFTING HIM IN A DYNASTY LEAGUE) have created a base upon which Dallas can really build an offense around for years to come. That, and the fact Dallas has one of the three best offensive lines in all of football.
Regardless, this is your open thread for the second of three NFL games today. Enjoy!
