2016 Week 14 Infographic: Houston Texans vs. Indianapolis Colts

The Texans seem to be at a disadvantage at quarterback.

Brock Osweiler seemed to be the final piece of the puzzle for the Texans. Even a slight improvement in quarterback play would help push the Texans over the top; they already had a good mix of offensive weapons and a stout defense.

But that is far from what has happened this season. Bob McNair has given Osweiler a pass so frequently that he dubbed this Osweiler’s rookie season. You can’t pay a rookie quarterback $80 million dollars. This isn’t 2010 Sam Bradford, after all.

The Texans put all their eggs in the same basket. Now that basket has been thrown off the top of NRG Stadium. It’s a mess.

Today Brock has to face Andrew Luck for the second time. Can Osweiler knock Luck off twice in one year? Probably not. Especially in Indianapolis, the site of so much sadness in Texans history.

Here is this week’s graphic.
