THINGS OF NOTE:
- Since October, DeAndre Hopkins has 44 receptions for 478 yards and 2 TDs, whereas C.J. Fiedorowicz has 46 receptions for 498 yards and 3 TDs. I know every week it seems like I bring up something about DeAndre Hopkins' struggles; that's due to the fact I don't want us to lose sight of the fact that one of the four or five best receivers in the NFL isn't the most productive player on his own team. That's insane.
- Lamar Miller has the fewest TDs of any RB in the league with 200+ carries this season. If he continues his current carry per game average for the rest of the season, he'll become the first Texans RB to surpass the 300 carry mark since Arian Foster did it in 2012. As for how Miller's been getting his yards this season, let's take a look at his splits courtesy of ESPN:
As we can see, Miller's average rises by almost a yard when the runs go outside of the tackles in comparison to when the ball is run inside.
- Oday Aboushi posted a perfect snap number by being the field for every snap with both Xavier Su'a-Filo and Jeff Allen dealing with injuries throughout the day.
- This week's game also featured the first strip-sack of Jadeveon Clowney's career.
Those are the numbers from this week's match-up. Feel free to chat away on any of these numbers or anything else about the game in the comments below.
