This should be a good contest between two AFC teams who are quite familiar with one another. Baltimore is one of the few teams in the NFL that’s not intimidated by Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. The Ravens have risen up three times to dethrone the Patriots in the postseason at Gillette Stadium, so a regular season game isn’t going to rattle the purple-clad bruisers from Baltimore. Then again, the Patriots defend their house better than anyone in the NFL. At home, Brady is a league-best 24-3 in the regular season since 2013.
RAVENS (7-5)
Baltimore is in the hunt for the division title, just one game behind the Steelers (8-5). A win tonight against New England would put them in first place in the AFC North as they own the head-to-head advantage after defeating Pittsburgh earlier this season. The Ravens are 4-1 in their last five games and are on a two-game winning streak.
PATRIOTS (10-2)
What can you say? Year in and year out, this is the team that finds a way to keep winning. They are the AFC mirror to the Dallas Cowboys this year, as their only two losses on the season were delivered by a division rival: Buffalo (6-7). New England’s only real threat for the AFC East title is Miami (8-5), but the Dolphins may have lost quarterback Ryan Tannehill for the rest of the year with a knee injury in yesterday’s victory over the Arizona Cardinals. The Patriots are 4-1 in their last five games and are on a three-game winning streak.
