Running back Lamar Miller was questionable all week entering the Houston Texans’ Week 16 match-up with the Cincinnati Bengals. It appears Miller has been downgraded to out for tonight’s game, reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Texans RB Lamar Miller (ankle) will not play tonight vs Bengals, per source. Expected to be ready for Titans next week.

Miller, 25, tweaked his ankle last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars, a game in which he rushed 63 yards and a touchdown.
Miller was held out of practice all week. Head coach Bill O’Brien said that his status was day-to-day and Miller was “a very tough guy.”
One of the Texans’ big offseason acquisitions, Miller has rushed for 1,073 yards and five touchdowns on 268 carries through 14 games this season.
Alfred Blue, Jonathan Grimes, and Tyler Ervin will have to pick up the slack for Miller tonight.
As Schefter reports, the Texans plan to have Miller back for the final game of the season against the Tennessee Titans—which could decide the AFC South crown and which team goes to the playoffs.
Miller isn’t the only superstar not playing in Houston Sunday, as Schefter is also reporting that the Bengals’ A.J. Green will not play tonight as well.
