The Texans head into halftime down 0-3 to the Bengals. Houston can clinch a playoff spot tonight with a win over Cincinnati (following a Titans loss to the Jaguars earlier today). The offense is struggling to get going, while the defense continues to play at a high level. Hopefully the second half will bring momentum to the Houston offense.
Live blogging the third quarter:
- Whoa, it’s cool, refs. That wasn’t the most blatant face mask I’ve ever seen.
- A.J. Bouye is a nasty, nasty man. Another pass defended.
- Yet another punt for the Texans.
- CLOWNEY WITH A HUGE SACK OF ANDY DALTON! HOLY KITTEN THAT GUY IS GOOD!!
- First down for the Texans!
- Looked like DeAndre Hopkins stumbled there, pass is nearly picked off but dropped. Fourth down and a punt for Houston.
- Texans defense continues to play shutdown. Bouye is everywhere tonight.
- Tyler Boyd snags a big one over the middle. A first down in Houston territory with less than a minute left. Bengals fighting to get into field goal range before time runs out.
- Field goal unit comes on, and it’s good. Bengals up 3-0.
