Monday Night Football Live: Detroit Lions vs. Dallas Cowboys

Now that Christmas is all done and dusted, it’s time to shift our attention towards the final week of the NFL regular season and the playoff seedings. The Cowboys have locked up the NFC East and the #1 seed in the NFC after the Giants lost to the Eagles. The Lions, however, are in the middle of a dogfight with Green Bay for the NFC North crown. Like the Texans’ situation, all the Lions have to do is win tonight and they clinch a playoff spot. Regardless of what happens in Arlington tonight, Detroit will head into their Week 17 clash with the Packers for the division title at Ford Field.

Unlike the Texans, however, the Lions are going up against one of the best teams in football right now. Detroit’s defense (which ranks 31st in DVOA) will take on a Cowboys’ offense that ranks second in DVOA. Hopefully this one will be a cracker and live up to some of the drama we’ve seen unfold this weekend.
