2017 Houston Texans Opponents: We Don't Know The Schedule, But We Know Who They're Playing

While the 2017 NFL schedule won't be released for another few months, the end of the regular season means we do know which teams the Texans will face next year.

Your 2016 Houston Texans are the champions of the AFC South. That’s fun to type regardless, but I mention it here because it’s relevant to which teams they’ll face in 2017. Although we won’t know when the Texans will play each of the thirteen (13) teams on the slate for 2017 until the NFL offically releases its schedule in April (usually shortly before the draft), we do know which teams they’ll be playing.

With one exception. We won’t know which team—the Kansas City Chiefs or the Oakland Raiders—wins the AFC West until Sunday evening, so that issue will remain open for another few days.

Thanks to the good people at FB Schedules, here's who and where your Houston Texans will play in 2017:

HOME: Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, AFC West Champion (Kansas City Chiefs or Oakland Raiders) Kansas City Chiefs.

AWAY: Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots.

Any of those opponents have you particularly excited or worried, either from the standpoint of the Texans’ chances or your ability to attend a game?

UPDATE (01/01/17: With the Chiefs winning the AFC West today, that means the Texans will travel to Arrowhead Stadium next season.
