With the Texans having already clinched the fourth seed in the 2016 AFC Playoffs and Sunday’s game in Nashville having absolutely no effect on Houston’s playoff positioning, it’s no surprise that the team has decided to rest players who’ve been battling injuries the last few weeks.
Texans rule out Jadeveon Clowney, Lamar Miller, John Simon and Jay Prosch

Clowney, Miller, Simon, and Prosch may not be the only Texans held out of Sunday’s game for prophylactic reasons.

It’d be cool for the Texans to post their first double-digit win total since 2012. It’d be cooler if they somehow managed to win a playoff game. Rest everyone who you think could use the time to heal, OB.
