Week 14 begins with your Houston Texans still technically atop the AFC South, but that’s due entirely to tiebreakers and not overall record, as both the Titans and Colts also “boast” records of 6-6.
The current AFC playoff projection continues to feature the Texans as the fourth seed in the conference, which would mean the Kansas City Chiefs (who are a solid three games better in the win column than Houston) would return to NRG Stadium in a rematch of their Week Two clash.
As you know, the Texans head to Indianapolis this weekend for the first of their remaining three games within the division. Next week, the Texans host the Jaguars. On Christmas Eve, the Bengals come to town, and the regular season concludes with the Texans traveling to Nashville to take on the Titans. There are sure to be a number of playoff scenarios in play between now and then, but for now I would suggest you simply remember this:
If #Texans win their 3 remaining AFC south games (at IND, vs Jax, at TEN), they win the division regardless of any other results.
