Andre Johnson spent $19,144.58 on twelve children in connection with Harris County's Dept. of Family Protective Services at Houston-area Toys R Us this morning. Johnson gave each child 80 seconds to grab as much loot as they could.
For as long as Battle Red Blog as been in operation, Johnson has done the yearly giving spree.
He returns to the event in person after one year in Indianapolis, where he had to Skype in while a family member was on hand to help.
This year marks the ninth annual event, with Johnson’s generosity is nearing $200,000.00. It isn’t about the money. It’s about making the holidays special for the children. ‘Dre Claus gets it.
