Andre Johnson Retired, But ‘Dre Claus Didn’t

Andre Johnson is arguably the greatest player in Houston Texans history. There is no questioning, however, that Johnson in the greatest human being to ever don the steel blue and battle red. He confirms that fact each Christmas.

Retirement hasn’t stopped ‘Dre making Christmas special for Houston area kids again.

Andre Johnson spent $19,144.58 on twelve children in connection with Harris County's Dept. of Family Protective Services at Houston-area Toys R Us this morning. Johnson gave each child 80 seconds to grab as much loot as they could.

For as long as Battle Red Blog as been in operation, Johnson has done the yearly giving spree.

He returns to the event in person after one year in Indianapolis, where he had to Skype in while a family member was on hand to help.
