We had an idea of where the 2016 NFL salary cap would be, but now we know.

That represents an increase of almost exactly $12,000,000.00 from where the NFL salary cap sat this past season. It bodes well for free agents who hit the market on about a week and a half, which means players like Brandon Brooks could find themselves even more awash in options for big money deals in new cities.
