Dreams. We all have them.
I used to dream about playing major league baseball. Tim dreams about taking baths in Curs Light. I can't publish what MDC dreams about as even this here blog has limits.
Andre Johnson once had a dream, too. He dreamed that, if he went to Indy with Frank Gore in an NFL version of Last Vegas, they would win a Super Bowl under the neckbearded leadership of Andrew Luck. Alas, some dreams aren't meant to be. Per Adam Schefter, Johnson has been released:
Colts have told WR Andre Johnson that they are releasing him, per source. One more high-profile unemployed veteran.

Might Andre Johnson return to your Mighty Houston Texans? Well, no, actually. Even after the 2014 season, it was apparent Johnson was mostly done as a productive NFL WR. After putting up a 41-503-4 line last year, most of which I believe occurred against the Texans in Week 5, it's clear Johnson will need to sign a prove it deal to continue his career. Even then, I don't think he's got enough left to earn a roster spot.
Sadly, despite his agent's words to the contrary, this might be the end of the line for the future Hall of Famer, the first man who will wear the Battle Red upon induction. There were a lot of mixed feelings when we went to the Colts, but Andre Johnson will always be a Texans' GOAT.
