Texans sign Raiders C Tony Bergstrom. He can also play G. Raiders third-round pick in 2012.

Who is Tony Bergstrom, you ask? That's a fair question. I think Matt Hammond said it best.
making up an opinion about Tony Bergstrom in 3... 2...

Presumably, Bergstrom was signed to replace the dearly departed Ben Jones. According to this article, Bergstrom "held up fairly well" when he made the second start of his NFL career in November of 2015. That's something, right?
Not knowing anything substantive about Bergstrom, I would haphazardly surmise that the fact that he was a third-round pick of the Oakland Raiders in 2012 yet only made his second career start for the team that drafted him in his fourth professional season means expectations should be tempered a bit. If you've got anything to add, including but not limited to your thoughts on swapping out Jones for Bergstrom, let it fly in the Comments below. We'll update this post with contract details once we get them.
