The Titans ("affectionately" known as a certain four letter word here at BRB) made a huge deal with the Rams today for the #1 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Peter King, I believe, broke the story first.
Titans have traded the top pick in the draft to the Rams.

The details of the deal:
Titans get:
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) April 14, 2016
1st (15 overall)
2nd (43)
2nd (45)
3rd (76)
1st-rd pick in 2017
3rd-rd pick in 2017
Rams get:
1st (No. 1)
4th (113)
6th (177)
Wow. Presumably, the Rams have their sights set on one of the top quarterbacks (likely Carson Wentz or Jared Goff) available in the 2016 NFL Draft, much to the chagrin of Case Keenum fans. The Titans, on the other hand, believe they have their franchise quarterback in Marcus Mariota, so they set themselves up beautifully to take advantage of the situation.
From the perspective of a Texans aficionado, Tennessee just acquired the ability to get much better relatively quickly, which isn't something you like to see from a division rival. Of course, the Titans still have to hit on the picks, but the opportunity to add talent over the next two drafts via this transaction has to be considered a great move as we sit here today.
