With the Rams trading up with the Titans (damn you, Rams!!) almost a week ago, speculation began to rise about
which QB the Rams would take and where the other one out of Carson Wentz or Jared Goff would land. Well, now we have another blockbuster trade on our hands, courtesy of the Eagles and Browns:
Eagles trade up to No. 2

Eagles get: 2016 1st RD (#2), 2017 4th RD.

Browns get: 2016 1st RD (#8), 2016 3rd RD (#77), 2016 4th RD (#100), 2017 1st RD, 2018 2nd RD.
Here is what it looks like for those counting at home:
Philadelphia Eagles receive:
- 2016 first round pick - No. 2 overall
- 2017 fourth round pick
Cleveland Browns receive:
- 2016 first round pick - No. 8 overall
- 2016 third round pick - No. 77 overall
- 2016 fourth round pick - No. 100 overall
- 2017 first round pick
- 2018 second round pick
Seems like a lot to move up to get one of Jared Goff or Carson Wentz, especially after Eagles GM Howie Roseman said that Sam Bradford is still their starting quarterback after the trade.
What do you think? What does this mean for the Texans? Did the Eagles pay way too much? Did the Browns finally make a great trade in the draft? Why is Howie comparing QBs to vanilla and chocolate?
