It appears that one of two things has happened to the Texans this year.
Either:
A) The Texans are putting a priority on increasing the speed/versatility of the offense by picking up fast receivers and a center (who may or may not be fast as well) because they felt the offense was way too slow last year.
Or:
B) Rick Smith has been possessed by the spirit of Al Davis and the Brain Trust is fervently working to exorcise him and left the drafting responsibilities to Clive, Bill O'Brien's pet hedgehog.
I'm sure it's one of those two.
