Hi guys and gals!  Surprised to see me here, again?

You're probably wondering, "How the hell did he convince the fine writing staff of this establishment to let him back on the masthead?"

Well, the truth is, I didn't.  I had to resort to less conventional methods involving a live chicken, a three-liter bottle of Diet Dr. Pepper, then waiting for Jupiter to be in the eleventh house and--you know what?  The less y'all know, the better off you'll be.

The fact is that I'm back, big as life and twice as ugly.  And I was looking through the archives and--

//blows off dust
///coughs

Oh, for crying out loud, how long has this thing been gathering dust?  Hang on.

/looks closer

The hell is this gunk on the glossary?  Is...is this ranch?  Weston, did you get ranch on the glossary I slapped together from previous glossaries painstakingly assembled with the love and attention a medieval monk would give his manuscript?!

/looks again
//cringes

So help me--THIS HAD BETTER BE RANCH, DAMMIT!

Anyway, the point of this post, in case you've forgotten (I forgot two paragraphs ago), is that the glossary is due for an update.  And because I'm too lazy to go searching for every last BRB reference that's been invented in the last couple of years, I'm going to do what all great visionaries do with major projects when they're too lazy to get up off the couch:  Crowdsourcing!

Here's where you come in.  If you know of any references, inside jokes, or blog-specific vernacular that you think would be a good fit for the official BRB glossary, please submit them in the comments.  Please include a brief etymology/definition of the term you'd like to include in the glossary.  If I like them, I'll add them to the glossary.  If I think I can come up with a better description, I will.  All terms accepted to the glossary are my decision and those decisions are final.

Also, this should probably go without saying, but please do not submit a term that's already in the glossary because I'm just going to stick with the one that's already in the glossary.  Why?  Because it's extra work and I won't have it..

If you need a refresher on what's already included, here's a link to the previous incarnation of the glossary.  I advise wearing gloves, you know, dust and ranch and stuff.

I fear/look forward to seeing what kind of weird crap y'all dig out from the last two years since the last update.
