Today, Mel Kiper released another mock draft; it's his fourth official one. If you recall his last mock, he had the Texans taking Notre Dame wide receiver Will Fuller. The theme is the same this time (wide receiver), but he's got another guy in mind for your Houston Texans:
22. Houston Texans
Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor
They have a big-time talent in DeAndre Hopkins, but Coleman adds another dimension, and is the kind of speedster who can open up space for others in the offense because you simply have to respect his speed. If you think you have your QB, you better add another weapon.
Fuller does slide a little bit this time, but not for too long; Kiper has the Bengals taking him with the 21st overall pick.
The pick of Coleman, who is the top prospect at WR according to PFF, would give the Texans a great one-two punch at wide receiver for the Texans not to mention another toy for new QB (and eerily Robert Pattinson's twin in a former life) Brock Osweiler. What do you think? Great pick? Better use of a first round pick somewhere else? Perhaps another wide receiver would be better at this spot?
