The 2016 NFL season has kind of sort of started today for your Houston Texans. The gates to training camp have opened up and players are running around in shorts and getting ready to play real life football again.
Already things are interesting in Texansville. J.J. Watt has a back injury and won't be participating, and no one really truly knows how long he's going to be out. DeAndre Hopkins is holding out, presumably so he can buy his dog a bigger purse. Brock Osweiler is finally getting the chance to run the show. And all of that speed is finally coming together in one place to take on real competition.
We will update this post with whatever news updates, vines or tweets that come through. Thanks to Brett, we also have a widget that'll automatically update; it's at the end of this post for you to examine. If you find anything in the meantime, leave it in the thread below for everyone else to see. If you are attending today's session of training camp, stop by later and let us know what happened today.
Football is happening again, everyone. The world is a beautiful place again.
