Thursday Night Football Open Thread: Pre-Season Edition

Smell that? It's the smell of summer fading away into the wintry abyss. It's also the smell of football returning. Tonight marks the beginning of the 4 weeks of pre-season football before the regular season begins, and it starts with a 6 game slate which features:

• Atlanta vs Washington (Kick off 6 pm CT)
• Tampa Bay vs Philadelphia (Kick off 6 pm CT)
• Carolina vs Baltimore (Kick off 6:30 pm CT)
• New Orleans vs New England (Kick off 6:30pm CT)
• Jacksonville vs New York Jets (Kick off 6:30pm CT)
• Chicago vs Denver (Kick off 7:00pm CT)
  

Things To Watch For:

• Second overall pick from the 2016 NFL Draft Carson Wentz will make his debut for the Eagles tonight.

• Denver's QB battle between their own rookie, Paxton Lynch, and Trevor Siemian and Mark Sanchez continues on from camp as they take on the Bears.
  
• Jimmy Garoppolo makes the start at QB for the Patriots as he begins his stretch as Patriots QB until Tom Brady returns from suspension.
