Ahead of the start of real, actual (practice) football, the Texans have yet to announce the full list of inactives for preseason game number one. We know J.J. Watt, Nick Martin, and Jadeveon Clowney aren't going to play. It has also been reported Brian Cushing is a healthy scratch, along with A.J. Bouye. If we get an "official" list, we will post it here. (In the preseason, apparently NFL teams are not actually required to release a formal inactives list).
Among #Texans players not dressed to play is Brian Cushing and A.J. Bouye is also not playing (groin).

For the 49ers, we will not be seeing the defense chase Colin Kaepernick around:
#49ers announce WR Rogers, QB Kaepernick, WR Smelter, S McCray, S Reid, DL Dorsey and DL Armstead will not play in tonight's game.

In case you missed it, head coach Bill O'Brien has said he expects Clowney and Martin to return to action next week. The early "reviews" on Nick Martin have been very positive. With such a key spot on the offensive line vacated, the de facto starter is now free agent veteran acquisition Tony Bergstrom, followed by Greg Mancz and something referred to as a Dalton Freeman.
