2016 NFL Preseason Live: Friday Night Football

This is your open thread for Friday evening's six-game preseason lineup.

David Butler II-USA TODAY Sports

Repeat after me: I will not panic about what is happening to the Texans' OL. I will not panic about what is happening to the Texans OL. Is it working? Probably not. If you're still (like myself) too worried to sleep/eat/function, feel free to distract yourself with tonight's preseason match-ups and glorious BRB discussions.

Week Three is generally the closest that we come to starting lineups in the preseason and therefore tends to be the most enlightening. This evening will offer a look at two of the toughest road opponents that the Texans will face this season: the New England Patriots (at the Carolina Panthers) at 6:30 pm CST and the Green Bay Packers (at the San Francisco 49ers) 9:00 pm CST. We will get an extended look at Pats QB Jimmy Garoppolo, who will be starting in place of the suspended Tom Brady in Week Four when Houston visits New England.

As Texans fans, the rest of the games tonight are only especially relevant for fantasy draft purposes. Oh, and the most useless game in all of football will also be aired this evening, as the Cleveland Browns visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 7:00 pm CST. Additionally, the Steelers will play the Saints at 7:00 pm CST and the Bills will play Washington at 6:30 pm CST.

Please discuss at length in the thread below and remember to adhere to all commenting rules.
