2016 Houston Texans Roster Cuts: Predicting The Texans' 53-Man Roster/Depth Chart

With the last of the preseason games in the books, work has already begun on trimming the roster down to the 53 players required by the tomorrow's deadline. Rick Smith will surely be on the phone to teams to see if he can get a pick in exchange for any players that aren't in the Texans' plans, and he may even be looking to trade for a player himself. The next 31 hours will be hard to predict, and no doubt there will be a shocker or two along the way.

With that said, here's my best attempt at a prediction for the Texans' 53 man roster:

Offense - 24 Players:

QB: Brock Osweiler, Tom Savage

RB: Lamar Miller, Alfred Blue, Tyler Ervin, Akeem Hunt

FB: Jay Prosch

WR: DeAndre Hopkins, Jaelen Strong, Will Fuller, Braxton Miller, Keith Mumphery

TE: Ryan Griffin, C.J. Fiedorowicz, Stephen Anderson

OT: Duane Brown, Derek Newton, Chris Clark, Kendall Lamm

OG: Jeff Allen, Xavier Su'a-Filo, Oday Aboushi

C: Greg Mancz, Tony Bergstrom

Defense - 26 Players:

DE: J.J. Watt, Christian Covington, Devon Still, Brandon Dunn
