Every NFL team has to have its roster down to 53 players by tomorrow at 3 p.m. CDT. For your Houston Texans, that means 22 players currently on the team will be thanked for their efforts in securing an undefeated preseason campaign and told their services are no longer needed.

In years past, news about the first few cuts has started to trickle out of NRG Park on the day before the deadline, so we're getting the tracker up this morning. We'll update this post as we learn which players have been cut (like we did for the first round of cuts), and then we'll have a separate entry summarizing all the moves when the deadline passes (again, like we did earlier in the week).

Cuts:

LB Eric Lee
WR Wendall Williams
WR Quenton Bundrage
OT Jeff Adams
OT Andrew McDonald
C   Dalton Freeman
CB Robert Nelson
OL Karim Barton
LB Tony Washington Jr.
TE Anthony Denham
DE Ufomba Kamalu
OL Chad Slade
TE Eric Tomlinson
RB Kenny Hilliard
CB Terrance Mitchell
LB Shakeel Rashad
LB Reshard Cliett
DL Dan Pettinato
FS Antonio Allen

In the meantime, let loose with your projections and predictions for the first version of the 2016 Houston Texans' 53-man roster in the space below.

UPDATE: The Texans' official team site says it's all over. Here's a summary of everyone who got cut and who's left standing.
