As much as it pains me to talk about this game any further, here are a few miscellaneous notes from last night's stat box.

  • The offensive plan quickly changed from whatever the heck it was supposed to be to ''Get the ball to Ryan Griffin'' and the stat sheet reflected it. Griffin was targeted 10 times, a number which has been reserved for only Will Fuller and DeAndre Hopkins in the opening two weeks
  • Speaking of TEs, this is the first week which a TE not named C.J. Fiedorowicz led the position group in snaps. Long may it continue.
  • After last week's nickel and dime bonanza, the defense returned to something which approximated their base package, with drops in snaps for both Kevin Johnson and A.J. Bouye while Max Bullough and Vince Wilfork saw increased workloads.
