Fantasy Football: Sunday Injury Update

Keep up with the ‘Questionable’ players as they are moved to active or inactive, and take a look at what viable options you may still have on the waiver wire.

NFL: Atlanta Falcons at Oakland Raiders Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

With less than an hour until those 12:00 p.m. (CST) roster slots lock, let’s take a look at which players have been moved to OUT, and who you can still pick up off the waiver wire to start in their place.

Throughout the day, I’ll update this space as the depth charts roll in for the later games.

Active:

Chris Ivory (RB/JAX)

DeSean Jackson (WR/WAS)

Julio Jones (WR/ATL)

Alshon Jeffrey (WR/CHI) - Expected In, Will Update

Brandon Marshall (WR/NYJ) - Expected In, Will Update

Inactive:

Sammy Watkins (WR/BUF)

Rashad Jennings (RB/NYG)

Thomas Rawls (RB/SEA)

Kendall Wright (WR/TEN)

Delanie Walker (TE/TEN)

Waive Wire Grabs:

WR

Tajae Sharpe: With Wright and Walker both out, Sharpe could be in for a huge day. If he’s still on your waiver wire, he’s probably my favorite plug-in option this week.

RB

Matt Asiata (RB/MIN): The Vikings named Asiata, not Jerick McKinnon the starting RB in place of the injured Adrian Peterson. If you’ve lost a RB last minute, check to see if Asiata is still available.

Kenyan Drake (RB/MIA): Drake is expected to get the start over Jay Ajayi for Miami. While not the most reliable pickup, he IS facing the Browns defense, which generally spells points.

TE

Jacob Tamme (TE/ATL): The Falcons’ TE has done well this season, with 75 yards and a TD last week. He’s one of the best options available at the TE position.

I’ll keep this page updated all day as news comes in for actives and inactives. Best of luck in your roster-setting endeavors!
