The second-best event of each fall, after the start of NFL football of course, is the commencement of NCAA football. It will be another chance for the Texas Longhorns to return to their former glory, or the Houston Cougars to silence the critics. Either way, we get football back on Saturdays.
Today, NRG Stadium will host a battle between #3 Oklahoma and #15 Houston (11:00 am CST). Texas A&M will face off against #16 UCLA (2:30 p.m. CST), and #18 Georgia will fight it out with #22 North Carolina (4:30 p.m.). We also get a look at #2 Clemson as they take on Auburn (7:00 p.m. CST), and #1 Alabama vs. #20 USC (7:00 p.m. CST). You can find a full schedule for today’s games here.
Tomorrow, we will finally get a look at this year’s Texas Longhorns, as they take on #10 Notre Dame (6:30 p.m. CST).
