MMQB’s Peter King revealed a first round mock draft that featured several trades, one of which involves your Houston Texans. Let’s see who King thinks will be a Texan...
17. HOUSTON (from Washington)
Texans trade 25th and 57th picks for No. 17 overall.
Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson
Probably right where Watson should go. Texans need to trade into the teens to get the QB they want.
King believes that Washington and Houston will make a first round trade for the second year in a row. Last year, the Texans traded up one spot to draft Will Fuller, and this year, King believes the Texans will trade up eight spots to get their quarterback, surrendering a 2017 second round pick in order to get the deal done.
Watson is the second quarterback off the board in this scenario, as King has Mitchell Trubisky going sixth overall after the Browns and Jets made a trade of their own.
What do you think about this possible trade scenario? Is Watson worth the price of trading a first and second round pick? Sound off in the comments below.
