Tom Savage has gone into the locker room, reportedly for concussion evaluation, after a QB sneak on 4th and 1. Brock Osweiler has entered the game for the Texans at quarterback. I’ll get video of the play Savage was injured on as soon as I see it posted.

UPDATE: According to the television broadcast, Savage has reportedly cleared the concussion protocol. Savage has returned to the sidelines, but it remains to be seen whether Bill O’Brien will put him back in the game.

UPDATE II: Despite Savage being cleared, O’Brien left Brock Osweiler in at QB for the Texans’ next drive.

UPDATE IV: Savage just reentered the game at the end of the second half. He promptly took a knee and the Texans headed to the locker room.

UPDATE V: This is getting ridiculous. After the Texans put Savage in to take a knee to end the first half, Brock Osweiler trotted back out onto the field to take the first snap of the third quarter for the Texans.

UPDATE VI: Now the story is that Savage was reevaluated at halftime and has been ruled out for the remainder of the game.

UPDATE VII: That reevaluation could mean Brock Osweiler is the Texans’ starting quarterback for the playoff game next week. Here’s why.
