Countdown To NFL Playoffs: Texans-Patriots

We’re in Foxboro this evening to challenge the Pats. Discuss the game before the game with us.

So, erm, the Houston Texans dislike three things: playing on national television, playing games that start after 3 p.m. local time, and playing the New England Patriots. We’re going to do all three of these things tonight. This should be interesting.

Outside of Kirby, pretty much no one in the world is giving us a shot to win this game. But we’re Texans fans and we know hope that Bill O’Brien, Brock Osweiler, and the rest of the offense have learned something from their shellacking in September. Like, y’know, the importance of crossing the 50 yard line in the first quarter. Little things like that. We know that Romeo Crennel’s men will handle their business. We need to know that George Godsey and his men will handle their’s.

This is where we get together to talk about our hopes and dreams for this evening’s game. Or where we discuss bleach cocktails and flavors. We’re Texans fans, and we have experience doing both before, during, and after games.

Have at it. Inactives should post around 6 p.m. CST, with the first quarter open thread going live at 7 p.m. Until then, fire away here.
