I don't harbor any illusions about the Texans' chances against the Patriots tonight. At the time I'm typing this, Vegas says the Patriots are favored to beat your Houston Texans by sixteen (16!) or more points.

I don't care.

I'm excited.

The Texans are playing playoff football.

Tonight may be a bloodbath. But maybe, just maybe, it's a glorious moment in NFL history we'll tell our grandchildren about. Let's see if the Texans can shock the world. There's only one way to find out.

This is your first open thread for the divisional round playoff game between your Houston Texans and the New England Patriots. Share your observations, thoughts, and musings about all things Houston, Texan, and/or Patriot in real time in the Comments below.

NOTE: Please do not post any images, videos, GIFs, or non-text comments in any of BRB's live game threads. They tend to slow the thread down and can take a long time to load. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
