Houston is headed into halftime following a huge second quarter of play. Impressive defensive play and a touchdown grab by C.J. Fiedorowicz kept the score close. This is your third quarter live thread!

Live blogging the second quarter:

• A.J. BOUYE WITH THE INTERCEPTION!!!!! BOUYEEEEEE!
• Houston grabs a first down and drives toward the red zone.
• Fiedorowicz barely prevents an interception in the end zone. And there’s holding on Chris Clark. Excellent.
• Houston nearly gets the first down with a nice run by Akeem Hunt. They’ll settle for a field goal here.
• HOLY KITTEN, THAT’S ANOTHER TURNOVER FOR HOUSTON!!!! Special teams knocks a ball from the hands of Dion Lewis! Texans’ football!!!
• TOUCHDOWN TEXANS! TOUCHDOWN TEXANS! Fiedorowicz pulls the score closer, 13-14.
• Whitney Mercilus and Brian Cushing with a sack on Tom Brady on third down!! Pats punt.
• Wow, bad coverage by Corey Moore and Chris Hogan hauls in a huge pass.
• Mercilus gets Brady AGAIN and the Patriots punt. Out at the five-yard line, tough field position for the Texans. Man, Merci is having A GAME.
• Illegal block in the back by New England as they field the kick return.
• Clowney nails Brady, who manages to throw the ball away.
• Texans are letting the big chunks of yardage go. Secondary needs to tighten up.
• First and goal for the Patriots. Jadeveon Clowney grabs Brady at the one yard line.
• What a defensive stand by the Texans! They keep the Pats out of the end zone three times to prevent a touchdown. New England kicks a field goal to end the first half 17-13.
