The Houston Texans today secured eight players for the off-season. Most of these players were brought in by the Texans over last summer’s training camp and have stuck with them throughout the season. The eight players signed to futures contracts today are:

Brandon Dunn served some time on the Texans’ roster earlier in the season when J.J. Watt went to Injured Reserve; he was released to make room for Robert Nelson when the Texans had a rash of injuries at cornerback. Kenny Hilliard was the Texans’ seventh round pick in 2015 but has been stuck behind a laundry list of running backs since then, though Hilliard did flash some skills this past preseason.
