Report: Colts Fire GM Ryan Grigson

In a move that might have ramifications on your Houston Texans, the Colts have decided enough is enough of Ryan Grigson.

It was fun while it lasted, wasn’t it? Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. Adam Schefter, ESPN’s watchdog of the NFL, announced that Jim Irsay has decided that the Colts no longer will employ Ryan Grigson as their general manager.

Personally, I thought Grigson did a fantastic job as general manager and that his firing is a rash step by the Indianapolis Colts. All he needed was more and more time to build his team.

The Colts will have a press conference at 5:30 p.m. EST (4:30 p.m. CST) to announce the change. In the short time since the firing has been announced, one name has come up who fans want to see replace Grigson as general manager. You probably know who he is. You certainly see him in enough pizza and insurance commercials to know who I’m referring to.

My question is this: if Grigson is fired, who will get Irsay’s pharmaceuticals for him now?
