The Texans’ coaching staff is in Mobile this week, presumably watching players practice before Saturday’s Senior Bowl. Two items of information for Texans fans have come out today from Mobile.
First, we get a little clarity on Romeo Crennel’s current contractual situation as it pertains to his elevation to assistant head coach:
Bill O'Brien was just on @SiriusXMNFL at the Senior Bowl. RACs deal is a 2-year deal to be the #Texans assistant head coach.

Secondly, with Sean Ryan being moved from wide receivers coach to quarterbacks coach in the wake of George Godsey’s departure, there is now a vacancy on Bill O’Brien’s staff. Could yet another former Patriot be a possible candidate for that position?
Wes Welker is here in Mobile with the #Texans staff. Has been considering coaching opportunities. Played under Bill O'Brien with #Patriots.
