The AFC South hasn’t had a team participating in the playoffs since the Patriots defeated the Texans in the divisional round nearly two weeks ago. There’s still been quite a bit of news in the division, however, with the Jaguars taking the interim tag off Doug Marrone, Bill O’Brien deciding to replace George Godsey as offensive coordinator with...Bill O’Brien, and the Colts firing Ryan Grigson.
I realize free agency, the draft, and further tweaks within all four AFC South organizations are inevitable, but I want to know what you’re thinking as the offseason begins in earnest. Entering the 2017 season, as you see things right now, how do you rank the AFC South teams? How do you think they will finish in the division?
Will the Texans remain on top? Or will they be bumped off by the Titans? Will a new general manager improve Andrew Luck’s supporting cast to the point that the Colts win the division next year? With Gus Bradley gone, are the Jaguars finally poised to make the leap so many have forecast over the last year or two?
Slot ‘em, one through four, with the team you believe will win the division at one and the team you believe will finish in the cellar at four. On January 26th, how do you believe the division is poised to shake out in 2017?
