Our Houston Texans are already on vacation, but that doesn’t mean football is over for Texans fans. We know that we need several new pieces to re-build our offense, special teams, and defense, and today’s Senior Bowl provides us with a chance to see some of the best draft prospects available.
The North and South rosters for the game have very impressive players, including Corey Clement (Wisconsin), Vince Biegel (Wisconsin), Kyle Fuller (Baylor), Haason Reddick (Temple), Damontae Kazee (San Diego State), and Julie’n Davenport (Bucknell). Unfortunately, Mike Mayock is convinced that this year isn’t the best year for our worst position, quarterback, but he does think Nate Peterman (Pittsburgh) can step in as a backup (we have plenty of backup quality quarterbacks; we just need that starting position locked down).
Which players are you looking at for the game? Are there any players you know about that aren’t in the game, but should be on our radars? This is the perfect place to start fantasizing about prospects (so we can sign them as UDFAs) and to start talking about the game, so don’t be shy.
