This morning I went inside the gas station to try and buy vegetable juice because my card wasn’t working when I tried to get gasoline. I needed to see if it was my card or the pump. I sauntered inside. I grabbed two V8s. The cashier was wearing a denim faded jacket, and I thought it was a Titans one. Oh did my heart leap! Someone out there just like me. I looked closer and it ended up being a Detroit Lions one instead.
I asked her about the game after seeing her stylish jacket. She told me she was very excited and she was leaving work early and said they have a shot. I told her they hadn’t won a playoff game in 25 years, isn’t that sad? She said yes she did and that is very sad and she was hopeful that today that will change.
