Brock Osweiler To Remain Texans’ Starting Quarterback For Next Playoff Game

Wild Card Round - Oakland Raiders v Houston Texans — Brock Osweiler is trying to defend his Super Bowl championship.

Whether Tom Savage clears the league’s concussion protocol or not, he won’t be starting under center when the Texans tangle with the Patriots or Chiefs next weekend.

If Osweiler’s performance last night in the win over the Raiders wasn’t his best of the season, it was on a very short list of candidates. Now he’ll have the chance to build on that against a considerably tougher defense, though it should be noted that Osweiler didn’t play well against the Chiefs or Patriots when he faced them earlier this season.
