Last week hurt, badly, but there are sixteen games to the NFL regular season. The Texans (and their fans) have little choice to but to put last week behind us and focus on our upcoming games. First up is a game against Houston’s former selves, the Titans. This division rivalry isn’t much of a rivalry, given that throughout the Texans’ history there has never been a point where both teams are strong, settled contenders. In the next few years, that may change, if Marcus Mariota remains healthy and Deshaun Watson continues to grow and develop.
The Titans come into today’s game sitting at 2-1, atop the AFC South. The Texans enter the day at 1-2, bad enough for last in the alleged worst division in the NFL. But perhaps the Texans have already faced their nightmare game last week, and we can turn the corner. Either way, the Texans have a game to play and we have a game to watch today.
This is where we discuss the game before the game. Chill here until the first quarter thread opens up 15 minutes before the first quarter. Inactives will be linked around 10:30 a.m.
