There is no replacing the great J.J. Watt, but that’s exactly what former Saints defensive lineman Kendall Langford is now going to try to do alongside Jadeveon Clowney, Christian Covington, and Joel Heath.
NEWS: Former #Colts DL Kendall Langford just signed w #Texans, I'm told. Houston looking for help after Watt and Mercilus injuries.

Langford is a 10-year NFL veteran who has seen time with the Dolphins, Rams, Colts, and most recently the Saints until he was released last week. He is by no means a top-shelf starter in the league, but he’s experienced enough to jump right into the Texans’ system and work as a rotational piece in a suddenly battered defensive line.
Lamarr Houston is also here to help out at outside linebacker. The former Raider and Bear has amassed 25 sacks over his 8 year career. Brennan Scarlett is expected to start however.
The #Texans have agreed to terms with pass-rusher Lamarr Houston, source said. Some help with Whitney Mercilus out for the season.

Expect both players to see plenty of snaps this week when the Browns come to town.
