While the Texans may have been overwhelmed with good news following yesterday’s performance, there was one downside—an injury to RB/WR/KR/PR Tyler Ervin. Unfortunately, it appears to be of the season-ending variety.

Ervin has now been placed on the IR and will not see the field for the remainder of the 2017 season. Alfred Blue returned to action this week, so he will most likely fill in the RB3 on the Texans depth chart behind Lamar Miller and D’Onta Foreman, with Chris Thompson, Will Fuller and Jordan Todman all rotating in at kickoff and punt returns.
What do you make of this news? How disappointed are you to see the loss of a versatile weapon in this offense?
