The losses of both Brian Cushing and now Dylan Cole have left the Texans’ linebacking corps looking a little light over the past few weeks. That’s why the Texans have attempted to remedy that situation through the signing of former Dolphins LB Jelani Jenkins.
#Texans have signed LB @jelanijenkins53. Played for Miami 2013-16. bounced thru Oak & Buff this offseason.

Jenkins’ signing comes not long after the news that Cole will be out for the next 4-6 weeks with a Grade 2 hamstring strain. Jenkins will most likely slide in behind current Texans starters Benardrick McKinney and rookie Zach Cunningham. To make room for Jenkins on the 53-man roster, the Texans parted ways with Marcus Burley yesterday.
What do you folks make of the signing? Do you think Jenkins will see a decent percentage of the snaps?
