A day after he reportedly said that the NFL should not let the inmates run the prison, resulting in DeAndre Hopkins and D’Onta Foreman choosing to leave practice, the owner of the Houston Texans has attempted to make peace with the team. The team released the following statement from McNair:

To sum it up, McNair said that the quote was not about the players, but about the relationship between the league office and team owners. Whether this is true or not, I don’t know.
