The Texans have been in the news for all the wrong reasons this week, and we’re hopeful that the coaches and players can come together this afternoon to win a game in Seattle, one of the toughest places to play in the NFL. At this time, all the expected players have made it onto the plane and will play their parts in the game today. That’s good, because we’ll need the best players we have available to walk out of Century Link with a victory.
While the vaunted Legion of Boom isn’t booming like it has in the past, they remain a force to be reckoned with. Seattle’s defensive backs gave themselves the nickname in 2012 when Kam Chancellor, Richard Sherman, Brandon Browner and Earl Thomas patrolled the back end of Seattle’s defense. Over time, the members of the L.O.B. have changed, with Byron Maxwell and Walter Thurmond joining the unit in 2013, and Browner, Maxwell, and Thurmond eventually leaving via free agency (Glover Quin, where art thou?)
What are you hoping to see today? Looking forward to seeing how Duane Brown performs when he returns to action? Missing Kendall Lamm already? This is the game before the game, so chat about what you think we’ll be witnessing below.
