It’s been an interesting few days for the Texans, and some news this morning could shake up the Texans roster even more, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport:
#Seahawks continue the push to trade for a veteran LT. A player they’d consider moving for cap reasons — TE Jimmy Graham. They’ve had talks.

#Seahawks have had talks involving #Texans LT Duane Brown, who is in SEA today. Could Jimmy Graham fly home with the #Texans? Unlikely but…

For this to happen, A LOT of parts would have to be re-arranged. Currently the Seahawks are attempting to shed as much cap space as they can whilst also trying to acquire a LT to help protect Russell Wilson. While Graham is certainly someone who the Seahawks might want to offload, there is no guarantee that the Texans will take him, considering the amount of cash they’ve invested in the contracts of TEs Ryan Griffin and C.J. Fiedorowicz. It’s also worth noting that Brown is one of the many LT options the Seahawks have explored (along with the Bills’ Cordy Glenn and Colts’ Anthony Constanzo). Still, there is a chance the Texans could deal their starting left tackle just days after he rejoined the team.
Do you think the Texans should deal Brown for Graham or other assets? Should the Texans keep Brown on the roster till the end of the season and then reevaluate? Let us know in the comments below.
