This Texans’ defense can literally not catch a break. After losing J.J, Watt and Whitney Mercilus for the rest of the season to injury and Dylan Cole for the next few weeks, the Texans suffered another blow with the loss of DE Christian Covington:
Christian Covington will likely be out for the season with a torn bicep, per Bill O'Brien. #Texans

Covington sustained the injury during yesterday’s game in Seattle. Covington had previously been struggling with some injuries and form before the season began, but he had shown signs of improvement over the past few weeks as he took on a larger role with Watt’s injury. It’ll now be up to the likes of Lamarr Houston, Ufomba Kamalu and Brandon Dunn to fill in for Covington’s absence for the rest of the season.
What do you make of this loss, Texans fans? Do you think it’ll have a big impact on the defense or will one of the other Texans DEs step up to fill the role?
